Q CELLS has supported the Australian community since 2009, longer than any other manufacturer currently on the market

With products developed specifically for Australian climates, unparallelled local support, and comprehensive testing facilities both in laboratories and in the field, Q CELLS are a trusted provider for Australian consumers.

Q CELLS (NASDAQ: HQCL) is a part of Hanwha Group, a Global Fortune 500 Company established in 1952 with over 55 Billion USD in total revenue and over 159 Billion USD in total assets. Hanwha Group has over 67 years' history of financial stability and with Hanwha Group's backing, Q CELLS is more than able to stand 25-year warranty.

At its diverse R&D locations in Germany,USA, Korea, China, Malaysia, Q CELLS employs a unique combination of R&D, pilot productions, and testing to develop and apply innovative manufacturing methods for high-tech products.

With global manufacturing plants located in Korea, USA, China and Malaysia the Australian market is currently supplied with models from both the Korean plant (Q.PEAK G5+ and G6+) and Chinese plant (Q.MAXX).

Generate Energy is a Q.PARTNER

The Q.PARTNER program aims to provide the Australian community not only quality products they have enjoyed since 2009, but also a quality installer network they can rely on who are vetted, trained, and resourced to provide the best experience for Australian solar customers.

Q.ANTUM TECHNOLOGY - MORE LIGHT. MORE PERFORMANCE. MORE ELECTRICTY

Q.ANTUM Technology supercharges ordinary solar cells and modules. Q.ANTUM delivers exceptional performance under real-world conditions. Q.ANTUM was designed to generate more power when the sun is rising, setting, or even behind clouds. You'll also see higher yields in the middle of hot and sunny summers, and during clear spring and winter days, when the sun is not as high in the sky. Low-light performance and output across a range of temperatures was enhanced.

Q.ANTUM DUO TECHNOLOGY

Q CELLS solar modules equipped with Q.ANTUM DUO Technology not only offer impressive performance under real life conditions, but also best-in-class performance parameters of 98% power after the first year and 85% after 25 years.

The Q.ANTUM DUO Technology developed by Q CELLS is based on the original Q.ANTUM Technology and further cell separation technology with round wires. Three additional technologies further augmented to original Q.ANTUM Technology came up with a result of the state of art Q.ANTUM DUO Technology. The 6 busbar, half-cell, and wire interconnection delivered not only the superior performance but also overwhelming aesthetic look of the modules. .The Q.ANTUM DUO Technology reduces both electrical and optical losses, respectively, by halving the current passing through each cell and making use of incident light more effectively.

TRIPLE YIELD SECURITY

ANTI PID/LID/LeTID TECHNOLOGY ENSURES RELIABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION

ANTI PID TECHNOLOGY - PID (Potential Induced Degradation) comes from a difference in electric potential between the solar cells and the frame of the module. PID can reduce module performance by 80%. Through understanding and research of the PID effect, since 2012 all Q CELLS products come with Anti PID Technology. Q CELLS proprietary Anti PID technology prevents PID and secures reliable energy yields. As a result, not a single PID fail with Q CELLS solar modules occurred in the field.

ANTI LID TECHNOLOGY - LID (Light Induced Degradation) is a loss of performance observed with crystalline silicon modules, beginning in the very first hours of their exposure to the sun. Oxygen forms complexes with the Boron added to make wafers “P-Type”. During the initial exposure to light, these B-O complexes trap free electrons, permanently reducing the power of the module by up to 3%. Q.ANTUM's Anti LID Technology permanently deactivates these Boron-Oxygen complexes in the factory. Thus ensuring minimal LID in Q.ANTUM Mono cells.

ANTI LeTID TECHNOLOGY - LeTID (Light and elevated temperature induced degradation) can cause degradation of 6% within the first three years of operation, depending on the climate of the installation site. Hanwha Q CELLS was the first solar cell developer in the industry to link the degradation of PERC cells to high temperatures and was thus the first company to devise a solution to suppress LeTID in 2015, using its Q.ANTUM cell technology that suppresses LID as well as LeTID. Hanwha Q CELLS’ Yield Security pledge guarantees that the Q.ANTUM products are certified anti-LeTID – a claim that few other manufacturers can make.

ADVANCED HOT SPOT DETECT TECHNOLOGY

The processing of silicon wafers can cause imperfections which lead to Hot-Spots. Hot-Spots can lead to delamination and power degradation over time as the backsheet begins to degrade in high temperature, which can increase the likelihood of solar module fires: the worst-case scenario of every PV system ower. The industry standard is to use the cells' electrical parameters to identify Hot-Spots. However due to the low resolution of this process, most Hot-Spots are overlooked. Q CELLS uses IR cameras to test each and every cell for potential HoSpots. Spatial resolution of the IR camera allows for removal of 100% of affected cells during production.

TRA.Q™ - TRACEABLE LASER MARKING SYSTEM FOR SOLAR CELLS

With Tra.Q™ every solar cell is labeled with a unique code. Thanks to specially-developed laser technology, the cell isn't damaged in this process. The code can then later be read with a special device. Tra.Q™ is like a fingerprint for a solar cell. At the moment, Q CELLS is the only brand in the solar industry to offer the patented Tra.Q™ labeling technology.
The Tra.Q™ code contains information about the place and date of production. Every Q CELLS solar cell has its own unique code. This makes it possible to trace each of their solar cells.
